EORTB

Interleaving exclusive-OR (top, bottom)

This instruction performs an interleaving exclusive-OR between the odd-numbered elements of the first source vector register and the even-numbered elements of the second source vector register, placing the result in the odd-numbered elements of the destination vector, leaving the even-numbered elements unchanged. This instruction is unpredicated.

Encoding

EORTB <Zd>.<T>, <Zn>.<T>, <Zm>.<T>

Decode for this encoding

if !IsFeatureImplemented(FEAT_SVE2) && !IsFeatureImplemented(FEAT_SME) then EndOfDecode(Decode_UNDEF); end; let esize : integer{} = 8 << UInt(size); let n : integer = UInt(Zn); let m : integer = UInt(Zm); let d : integer = UInt(Zd); let sel1 : integer = 1; let sel2 : integer = 0;

Assembler Symbols

<Zd>

Is the name of the destination scalable vector register, encoded in the "Zd" field.

<T>

Is the size specifier, encoded in size:

size <T>
00 B
01 H
10 S
11 D
<Zn>

Is the name of the first source scalable vector register, encoded in the "Zn" field.

<Zm>

Is the name of the second source scalable vector register, encoded in the "Zm" field.

Operation

CheckSVEEnabled(); let VL : integer{} = CurrentVL(); let elements : integer = VL DIV (2 * esize); let operand1 : bits(VL) = Z{}(n); let operand2 : bits(VL) = Z{}(m); var result : bits(VL) = Z{}(d); for e = 0 to elements-1 do let element1 : bits(esize) = operand1[(2*e + sel1)*:esize]; let element2 : bits(esize) = operand2[(2*e + sel2)*:esize]; result[(2*e + sel1)*:esize] = element1 XOR element2; end; Z{VL}(d) = result;

Operational information

This instruction is a data-independent-time instruction as described in About PSTATE.DIT.

This instruction might be immediately preceded in program order by a MOVPRFX instruction. The MOVPRFX must conform to all of the following requirements, otherwise the behavior of the MOVPRFX and this instruction is CONSTRAINED UNPREDICTABLE:
